#33 - Nursing School Work/Life Balance: Living Intentionally with Your Marriage- needs edited

My husband and I are creating helpful resources for nursing students together!

Is he a nurse? Nope. He's in the music business. However, he is my husband, father of our 3 amazing kids, and my life partner.

Over the years he has grown to understand a bit of nursing and I have grown to understand a bit of music business, but these days we are speaking the same language: intentionality.

Between his technical "know-how" and my passion for nursing, we are putting our heads together to create long-lasting, much needed resources to help students.

To you students that are in relationships, here are 3 ways you can find common ground with your partner:

1. Communicate honestly, commit to listening to each other without interruption and create safe space in your relationship for authenticity.

We learned a long time ago, that to be honest, you must believe you are "safe" to be honest and that the other person can "handle" the honesty.

For us, living intentionally, means continually learning and be responsible for the new knowledge we gain. It's not enough

We listen to audio books, podcasts

We listening to audio books and mutual commitment to living intentionally and having a shared dream of educating others beyond the natural borders of a classroom. ⁣
